True story: Miranda met her husband when they were 5. Her family had just moved to Pennsylvania, and he was the boy on the other side of the woods. 23 years later, they tied the knot in the woods where they played as kids. They bought a small orchard, and started a life as apple growers and owners in a hard cider business.
Miranda works as a multimedia producer for Gettysburg College. In her spare time, she enjoys collaborating on documentary projects and family narratives as well as helping out in the orchard. She also loves exploring the hills of Adams County with her pup Nora.
Miranda specializes in projects that raise awareness, inspire the human spirit and impact society and culture. She studied visual journalism and African studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was involved with several award winning multimedia projects as a photographer, videographer, and team producer.
Her work has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, AARP, Monocle Magazine, and Special Olympics International.
